AMBER ALERT ISSUED 1/4/2025 7:00PM
Police have issued an amber alert for a missing 6 year old little boy who was abducted from a shopping center mall. Lucas Harper was last seen in the Crestview Mall parking lot wearing a stripped green shirt with tan shorts and white sneakers. He was shopping with his mother, who at the time of his disappearance was loading shopping bags in the trunk of her car. Lucas is also a diabetic who is in need of constant insulin injections. His mother is deeply concerned for his health and wellbeing. A shopper exiting the mall claims to have saw a young boy in the back of a red Toyota camry, unharmed and content.
Lucas’s parents are reported to be going through a nasty divorce which includes a very heated custody portion of their legal battle that lucas’s father was not pleased with the outcome of the judges ruling. Police are suspecting foul play involving the father, who they have in custody and questioning for information. There has not been any form of ransom demand called in so it leads the police to believe this is not an act of evil intent. Luckily, there is no airline manifest with Lucas Harper listed as a passenger so the detectives believe Lucas is being held somewhere close and familiar.
The police are investigating at this time but are asking the public to call in any tips into their hotline to help lead to the return of Lucas to his mother.
