Christian pastor and local author has finally released his very first book! Pastor Phill Matthews has been working on this book for the past 3 years, perfecting each word. “Sharing this story means so much to me and I hope that it gives others comfort when dealing with their own grief”, Matthews says.
‘Living In The Clouds’ is based off paster Matthews own experience with dealing with the death and grief of his father and how his perception of clouds have changed over the years. This story shares not only the heart break of lost but also the light of how god will guide you through the hurt in your faith. One of paster Matthews favorite lines from his book states “Clouds seem more comforting knowing you’ve made them into your new home.”
Pastor Matthews lost his father to a heart attack about 4 years ago, right at the peak of his life. Matthews welcomed his first born son a few months before losing his father. “Going through your young adulthood without a role model can be extremely difficult, especially whenever it comes to becoming a new parents and needing that advice from your own. But putting your faith in the lord and knowing theres a forever home waiting for everyone who’ve accepted Jesus as their lord and savor beyond this life gives you comfort in the lost and heartbreak”, Pastor Matthew tells us.
