A Mississippi solider surprises daughter by coming home for the holiday season.
Lieutenant Larry Carry and his daughter Lucy Carry, 6, were reconnected this week after a 2 year old deployment. Lieutenant Carry was stationed over in Vietnam and has been planning this reunion for the past several weeks.
Lucy woke up this past Wednesday morning believing it to be a normal day filled with playing at the park with her friends, but what she didn’t expect was her daddy to be waiting for her in the living room.
“The look on her face was worth it all and something I will cherish forever” Lieutenant Carry shares. “Being able to spend theses moments with the people I love and adore is what keeps me fighting.”
Lucy has already started making plans for snowball fights, decorating gingerbread houses, and late night Christmas light drives.
