Garrett Harris has announced he will be sticking around at the Greenville State University.
After starting the year off strong, during the fourth game of the season Harris rolled his ankle resulting in being taken off the field on a stretcher. Upon further health assessment, Harris was benched the rest of the season to allow for his ankle to heal properly to avoid further damage. He has attended physical therapy for the past couple months to regain his ankles mobility.
Harris was recruited early into his senior year of high school at Scott Hill high school in Scott, MS. Coaches were highly impressed with the offense shown by Harris and offered a full ride to play for their university.
Before Harris was benched last season, he completed 78% of the passes thrown his way for roughly 1245 yards. Harris has a total of 14 touchdowns under his belt for the GSU Bears.
We look forward to cheering him on during this next season!
