Please check your furry friends food to be sure its not been recalled.
Several reports have been made about cats and dogs getting very sick after owners have purchased new food for their fur babies. Symptoms have included vomiting, loose stool, and a lack of interest in being active. Local vets are seeing in stool and blood samples that a bacteria have caused these symptoms. Thankfully, none of the animals have died that have been reported sick.
It’s unclear and still being investigated as to how the food got infected. Owners are urged to return the unopened and opened bags, as well as unopened and open cans of wet food, to the retailer they have purchased from.
Retailers will be accepting returns for full refunds.
