It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Rizzo, a gifted portrait painter, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 84. Frank was a master of his craft, renowned for his stunning portraits that captured the essence of his subjects.
Frank was born on June 14, 1938, in New York City, where he developed his love of art at a young age. He went on to study at some of the most prestigious art schools in the country, including the Art Students League of New York and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Over the course of his career, Frank painted portraits of countless individuals, including politicians, celebrities, and everyday people. His portraits were renowned for their accuracy, detail, and emotional depth.
Frank's work was exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the world and won numerous awards and accolades. He was also a beloved teacher, and his students remember him as a patient, kind, and inspiring mentor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to an art education program, to continue Frank's legacy of inspiring and nurturing the next generation of artists.
