We mourn the loss of Mary Jones, a devoted member of our church community, who passed away peacefully on April 28, 2023, at the age of 85. Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of countless people with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith.

Mary was born on December 15, 1937, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She grew up in a devout Christian family and was an active member of her church from a young age. In 1956, Mary married her husband, John, and they raised four children together. They were married for 62 years until John's passing in 2018.

Mary was a tireless servant of God who dedicated her life to serving her community and church. She served as a Sunday school teacher, youth group leader, and a member of the church choir. Mary was also an active volunteer with numerous local charities and community organizations, always seeking to help those in need.

Mary's faith was the foundation of her life, and she lived each day with grace, kindness, and love. She was known for her warm smile, gentle spirit, and deep compassion for others. Her unwavering faith in God inspired those around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mary is survived by her four children, ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly by her family, friends, and church community, who were blessed to have her in their lives.

A funeral service celebrating Mary's life will be held on May 3, 2023, at the church where she was an active member. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the church or a charity of your choice in Mary's memory.
